Colby Browning just graduated from law school and has started a new job in a small law firm in Texas, but his real passion lies in helping out at his oldest brother's PI firm, Ice Investigations. When they are called upon to help a young woman having some serious trouble with her ex-partner, Colby wants to help in any way he can.
When the case takes a dangerous turn, Colby finds himself working with Brianna Carlson, a no-nonsense detective who has a personal investment in the case. Colby finds himself more and more attracted to Brianna, but she's not ready yet for a relationship... with anybody.
Can Colby save one woman from a controlling ex, and the other from her own relationship fears?
