This coloring book is based on The House that Jack Built except it is made just for little girls. It is very unique, because it represents a fresh telling of the two hundred fifty year old cumulative tale; it has no violence, it has a strong female character as opposed to the damsel in distress of the old tales. Best of all, for the coloring book version – the child’s artwork becomes their favorite bedtime story. Almost all the coloring books on the market are theme based, with no story line, and as such, do not lend themselves to bedtime reading. Other artwork may be placed on the refrigerator door, but it ceases to be an interactive part of the child’s day, but when the child colors this book, they enjoy it every night at story time.
