When Howard, leader, mentor and friend to the staff at M Fisher Financial is suddenly ‘retired’ from his position, it marks the beginning of a change in the way the company does business and looks after its employees.
Gone are the principles of leadership, respect and value for the staff, replaced by a management team with no industry experience, who create a culture of fear and random firings, always accompanied by the ‘we are going in a different direction,’ standard excuse.
Amid these new principles one member of the workforce, top salesman Ray Martin, finds his voice and openly challenges the new practices, making himself a target of his new boss and her team of puppet managers in the process.
Now, with his career imploding and on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown, Ray must take some risky steps to protect his ability to provide for his family before he loses everything.
But is the sudden offer of a new job all that it seems? Or is Ray about to embark on something that, far from saving his reputation, may completely destroy it?
