The stakes are getting higher as the waves of assault and espionage begin to hit. In just a few days after the 9/11, Brigadier General O’Malley and his team have to stop a terror plot that could see the ghastly demise of thousands of children, an onslaught that could be even worse than the September 11 attacks.
ReplyDeleteThemes of deception, terrorism, and war play a greater part in this action-packed fiction with a complex plot as O’Malley comes up as the strongest character and a witty boss outwitting all odds. The author has considerably fleshed out the characters and expertly crafted the dialogue to fit perfectly into the narrative. He obviously did his research well with the ranks and the hierarchy within the military that are well exploited and placed in the narrative. There were a couple of twists that caught me by surprise and made me appreciate the author’s story-spinning skills.
Hostile Intent is a gripping and compelling story which sheds light on the gripping September 11th attack on the United States and the world in general and how they were able to avert further disasters. Colonel Patrick O'Malley is a modern day hero and is brought to life in this story as all his military expertise and acts of valor come into play. The writer takes us on a vivid and chilling encounter of past events which kept the world in shock and at alert.
ReplyDeleteTom Clancy's book titled 'Special Forces, Special Activities' makes an appearance as covert and clandestine mission rules the day, as whispers of many conspiracy theories filter through the corridors of power thus making the President issue a command that the identification, location and elimination of anyone holding hostile intent towards citizens and property be eliminated by all means possible, covertly though, without any trace to the presidency.
