What started as a mere sickness was the start of a mass zombie outbreak. A devastating illness that left many stricken, bedridden and dead would be manufactured into a zombie poison pill for the entire world to swallow. Yet no one would know what was to unfold that year, 2012. The sickness was to be cured that year but it wasn't. It all started with Austin Sommers.

 Austin Sommers is a not so ordinary neuroscientist at Cerebrum+. Austin finds himself living in his fears as he tries to live throughout the world. He records it all in his journal, writing day-to-day. Austin's entire world changes as he travels to San Pedro to fight an unknown disease, Rubinsky's. His fears, cowardice, and his weakness will be put to the test as he tries to cure Rubinsky's Disease.
