The book touches on how a little boy (Willy) experiences a lack of unconditional love and how he found happiness within himself.
As a parent, our children should be our primary concern and our focus must be on the development stages from a very young age. This book was written with that in mind. A child's imagination is important as it sets the wheels in motion for what and who they become in life. In this book, a less traditional mom decides she would rather not deal with her nephew and therefore sends him away to do chores. While it's sad to say, numerous children are living with adults who instead of dealing with their children, they send them away like the mother in the book.
