Ethan Cooper, a cut-throat and ‘takes no prisoners’ individual, is a Senior Detective with the AFP’s Criminal Investigative Branch. As a former officer with the Australian Army’s Special Air Service Regiment, Ethan Cooper is an expert in counter-terrorism, and he’s seen a lot of action. He knows how to handle himself, but perhaps that’s his biggest flaw? Trusting the wrong people can lead to disaster, especially if that person was his best friend.
Following the assassination of a very important person in Australian politics, Detective Cooper learns that this was just the beginning of a deep, twisted and scandalous conspiracy to take control of the Australian government in a deadly coup d’état.
